Account Deletion
Use this page to delete or request deletion of your Bahraini Budget Manager account and associated data.
Delete Your Account in the App
The fastest way to delete your account is inside BBM:
- Open Bahraini Budget Manager.
- Go to Settings.
- Open Security.
- Select Delete account.
- Complete the OTP verification step to confirm the request.
Request Account Deletion by Email
You can also request deletion by emailing info@bbm-app.com.
Please include the email address or phone number linked to your BBM account so we can verify the request. We may ask for additional verification before deleting account data.
Data Deleted
When an account deletion request is completed, BBM deletes or schedules deletion of account profile data and associated app data, including budget categories, budget entries, savings records, backup records, import metadata, and account security preferences.
Data That May Be Retained
Some records may be retained for a limited period where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, troubleshooting, or backup recovery. Retained records are limited to what is necessary for those purposes.
Processing Time
In-app account deletion is processed after OTP verification. Email requests are usually reviewed within 30 days after we verify the account owner.
