Platform-status correction — October 19, 2026. The official Google Play listing now has October 19 release notes describing redesigned screens, record review, grouped employee bills and guided setup, with improved passkey sign-in and clearer profile-verification recovery options and Verify & open BBM/manual-code verification. Android's internal build number and full feature parity have not been independently verified. iOS 1.0.26 and web build 81 remain confirmed.
The workflow below covers confirmed iOS 1.0.26 and web build 81 and does not prescribe a spending allocation. Use the instructions shown in your edition.
Start with the plan's inputs
Follow guided setup through income, expenses and a first plan. Use the path appropriate to your work situation; employee and self-employed setup are tailored differently. Missing optional profile details can be completed after sign-in or dismissed. They are separate from the income and expense information needed to make a useful plan.
Read the monthly figures as estimates
Compare expected income with planned expenses and planned remainder. A planned remainder is the result of your plan, not evidence of money held in a bank account. Home and Plan use a consistent record selection, so use the same selection when comparing those views instead of combining figures from different records.
Review a bill date as a group
For the employee view, bill dates show a count and total. Select a date to inspect all bills in that group. This gives you a concrete set of records to review together before deciding whether an entry needs correction.
Repair the record before relying on the total
Use a Needs review flag as a prompt to inspect the affected record and follow its direct repair path. When editing or deleting, read the confirmation carefully so you apply the intended change. Recheck the monthly view after correcting the underlying record.
Keep the monthly habit small
Simple mode supports everyday monthly planning; Advanced mode is available for forecasting and comparison. Choose the level of detail that helps you check the plan. For a general review checklist and fictional BHD examples, continue to the existing 15-minute monthly budget review guide. For a fresh income-based plan, read Build your first salary budget. Those are budgeting education pages, not claims that every example is an automatic app feature.
